Products and Services
An outside evaluation usually produces insights that would not have been evident to those who stand too close to the process to be objective. This can mean the difference between success and failure -- or between value and waste.

Prelude to Project Portfolio Excellence - If you're not sure whether Project Portfolio Excellence is right for your organization this session will give you the opportunity to discuss your specific environment and challenges. If you decide to proceed to The Contract for Collaboration, the fee for this session is returned.
The session is best conducted onsite, but arrangements can be made for online, or conference call delivery.
The Contract for Collaboration - In order to help companies better understand the strategy of Project Portfolio Excellence, we offer a 1 or 2-day, train-the-trainer event, that gives 10 to 12 representatives from each of the three Project Triad groups an education in The Project Triad, The Project Trinity, The Contract for Collaboration and Project Request and Fulfillment Planning and how they're used with software-related projects to achieve greater quality and success.
Day 1 of the program consists of 4 one-hour sessions:
Hour 1 is for Senior Managers. In it we discuss the critical role of Senior Managers in project success and some of the ways in which Senior Managers sometimes become barriers to that success.
Hour 2 is for Business Professionals. We discuss how Business Professionals must collaborate effectively with Technology Professionals if projects are to succeed. We also discuss the responsibility Business Professionals have to Senior Managers when it comes to reporting project status and elevating issues.
Hour 3 is for Technology Professionals. We discuss how Technology Professionals must collaborate with Business Professionals to succeed with projects and the role Technology Professionals play in raising systems-related issues during the requirements gathering phase.
Hour 4 brings the three groups together to discuss the proceedings of the day and to set expectations for what will happen next in order to be ready to sign The Contract for Collaboration.
Day 2, which is scheduled after the three groups have had the opportunity to reflect on what was discussed in the first day's sessions, consists of a second round of meetings with the three groups, and a final session during which the signing of The Contract for Collaboration takes place. This is not a step to be taken lightly. By signing The Contract for Collaboration, all participants are acknowledging a new way of viewing, valuing, and managing software-related projects. If that commitment can't be made, process improvement will not happen.
After this event the participants will be prepared to train others in their respective areas to use the tools, techniques, strategy, and methodology of Project Portfolio Excellence and to foster a higher level of project management maturity going into the future.
